Paul Greenberg
Chief People Officer / Chief Culture Officer
With close to 30 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Paul Greenberg brings a wealth of knowledge, operational expertise, and exceptional relationship-building skills to the P Hospitality leadership team. As the visionary founder of American Social Bar & Kitchen, Paul played an instrumental role in building a brand known for its vibrant atmosphere, elevated beverage programs, and exceptional guest experiences. His ability to cultivate strong teams, create high-energy dining environments, and develop top-tier bar programs makes him a crucial asset to P Hospitality’s continued growth.
Paul’s journey in hospitality began at just 13 years old as a busboy at a local pizza shop in Coral Springs, Florida. By the time he was 16, he was working at Pete Rose Ballpark Café in Boca Raton, where he fully immersed himself in the industry—taking on every role imaginable, from food runner and server to bartender and even baking apple pies in the kitchen. This hands-on experience fueled his passion for hospitality and set him on the path to a lifelong career in the restaurant business.
After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, Paul expanded his expertise in Tallahassee, Florida, where he became the general manager and partner of Main Street Entertainment, The Painted Lady, and Potbelly’s. His ability to lead teams, streamline operations, and develop unique hospitality concepts helped him sharpen his skills in restaurant management and brand development.
In 2012, Paul co-founded American Social, a wildly successful restaurant and bar concept that has since grown to five locations across Florida. As a founding partner, he oversaw all facets of the business, including daily operations, financial management, menu development, marketing, beverage program curation, and team training. More importantly, he understood that the heart of hospitality is human connection. His focus on guest engagement and staff development helped shape American Social into one of the most recognized brands in Florida’s hospitality scene.
In 2017, Paul relocated to Tampa to launch a new American Social outpost, and in 2019, he moved to Orlando to oversee another location opening. In 2023, he opened the Boca Raton location of American Social before deciding to take on a new challenge—joining P Hospitality as a partner in 2024.
As Chief Culture Officer, Paul’s role is to strengthen the company’s core values by fostering an engaging and dynamic work environment for employees. His expertise in hospitality culture-building ensures that every guest interaction is memorable and that every team member feels empowered to excel in their role. Paul is also focused on elevating P Hospitality’s beverage programs, utilizing his extensive experience to create innovative and exciting cocktail and bar offerings.
Paul’s addition to the P Hospitality team also inspired the development of Dear Olivia, a restaurant named after his daughter and a project that represents his next chapter in hospitality. This new concept allows him to channel his experience and creativity into a fresh and modern dining space, blending his passion for guest engagement with high-energy service and exceptional food and drink offerings.
“The aspect of hospitality I love the most is being on-site, interacting with guests, and being an active part of the team,” says Paul. “A restaurant’s culture is built from within, and ownership is an integral part of that. I’m thrilled to be part of the P Hospitality family and can’t wait to help shape the future of this incredible brand.”
When he’s not in the restaurants, Paul enjoys spending time with his kids, traveling, and constantly looking for new ways to innovate in the hospitality space. His passion for connecting with people, building meaningful experiences, and leading dynamic teams continues to shape the success of P Hospitality and its growing portfolio of restaurants.
